A m
ere 7 months since I saw you last, yet somehow it feels both forever and yesterday. While I've traveled many places in my 16 years, and I've many more on my list, there's only one you. I know it's cliche, and I accept that, but you've captured my heart. I'm pretty sure I've left little pieces of it scattered in the Marais, on St. Germain, in coffee shops and patisseries. And when I left in June, I swore I'd see you again, soon. I'm counting the days. Seeing you for the month of June was a life changing experience for me, taking a class at Paris College of Art. My fellow students ranged from 16 years to 40, from 17 different countries, all joined together for 80 hours of artistic inspiration in a college class on couture fashion design. I left with the knowledge that I no longer wanted to be a fashion designer for my life's ambition, but I also left with four lifetime friends. I miss you Paris. I miss the wonderful, diverse, wacky and wonderful, charming and creative place you are. I miss how you inspired me and you led me to people I'd never have met, ever. And for that, I'm forever grateful. I can't wait to return. I hope you're missing me too.
