A Japanese Summer

In days I board a long flight to experience my first visit to Asia, Japan specifically. I'm already in fear that I don't have enough media cards on hand for all the amazing sights and experiences that await me. Let's get a few things straight. This is not some high brow cushy trip. I will be sleeping on a futon on a tatami mat. I plan to take a cooking lesson in sushi making and attend a tea ceremony. Unlike most of Europe, where I feel completely comfortable with foods, the environment and the general vibe of things, this will be very, excuse me, foreign. The language, the customs, the foods, the lifestyle are so vastly different than our western ways, and I'm thrilled to experience something entirely new. I'll get back to you upon return and I hope to have some fantastic images to share. Until then, Sayōnara.
